Go Green
The Borough encourages green living practices in our community by promoting recycling, discouraging wastefulness and showcasing the natural setting of Stone Harbor. Stay tuned to see all the ways we aim to improve our festival and our environment!
Stone Harbor Arts & Crafts Festival salutes those artists whom are using techniques or materials that are friendly to our earth! We support use of organic, natural, sustainable, reclaimed or recycled materials or fibers in their work; non-toxic, non-polluting materials are safer and healthier than traditional ones. We encourage artists to use renewable energy powered by solar, wind, and water during production. Please take a moment and let us know if you use any of these methods in your work.
Recycle! Recycling containers are located throughout the festival grounds. Please recycle your plastic/paper waste. We encourage you to refill your water bottle at our convenient water fountains indicated on your map.
Travel Green! Please use our bicycle racks located at Second Avenue entrance in front of the Recreation Building. Take advantage of our complimentary shuttle service. Follow the link below for details!
Eat Green! Many of our food court vendors offer locally grown food served in eco-friendly materials.
Thank you for not smoking!
